Virgilio A. I've been training with Carla for more than a year on a one-on-one basis. I have found her sessions to be well-planned, thoughtful, varied, specifically targeted to the goals we set out. If you need someone push you just hard enough outside your comfort zone, Carla is your person. Her technical training and breadth of knowledge give her a solid footing in customizing workouts and the flexibility to make modifications on movements to work around injuries. (I developed some nagging shoulder issues for a few months from tennis while working with her). Most importantly for me, Carla possesses a bonus intangible for a personal trainer: She is passionate about so many things, making her one of the most enjoyable people to converse with during a workout. She often knows just what to say to motivate you enough to finish that set or add on that extra resistance. Suffice it to say, time passes by quickly during our workouts and I always leave having enjoyed myself despite how hard we've worked during our session.
